		<description>That is a pretty wild opening.  But actually, Dragon Quest III introduced the day/night cycle to the series.  More difficult random battles, shops would be closed, and so on, at night.

By the way, I ♥ The PC Engine is great series, and I say that as a fellow PC Engine chronogamer.</description>
