Thanks for the post, this is one of those games I always liked from a distance but never REALLY played. It’s nice to see it all in one 26 minute chunk.

Taito certainly has some cute characters in their games, and this game has some particularly cute cutie-pies.

I have attempted to play straight through New Zealand Story, but I often choke on certain (deviously designed) sections. I realized that, in general, I probably play more conservatively than someone using an emulator (who can afford to take risks).

Or maybe I have turned into a curmudeon who complains about new-fangled technology—and conveniently ignoring my declining platforming skills.
